Ethical Holiday Guide || Affordable Gifts For Her
She may not be hard to shop for, but she may not speak her needs as quickly as everyone else. She may seem to "have it all". Or, she may carry herself so gracefully with what she has that you have no idea where to start when shopping for her. Whether she is your mom, your girlfriend, your sister, your aunt, or your best friend (or, if you're gathering some great ideas for your own Christmas list), she deserves a gift that is as beautiful as she is, but won't compromise on ethics.
All of these pieces are practical, can fit a wide range of ages/personalities/styles, and of course are made as ethically and sustainably as possible. Each of these brands have been hand selected (by me) for this guide with affordability and practicality in mind, things I've either personally used or think would fit well into a wide variety of lifestyles.
Whoever she is, she is sure to appreciate one of these consciously beautiful gifts.
1. Sustainable Watch || Berg + Betts
Although it's not the smallest of gifts price-wise, a watch is a classic, versatile piece that every woman should have in her wardrobe. Unfortunately, most watches aren't made ethically or sustainably. Berg + Betts is a Canadian watch company that is on a mission to change the timepiece industry for the better. They use deadstock leather from designer brands that would have otherwise been sent to landfill. The other pieces of their watches are made in a Hong Kong factory that they personally monitor closely, and assembled in Canada by their team. Their pieces are beautiful, affordable, and best of all, ethically made.

What woman doesn't want new slippers for Christmas? Baabuk is a B-Corp certified brand that makes shoes and slippers out of ethically sourced wool. My family is obsessed with ours' and I couldn't recommend a pair for your mom, sister, grandma, friend, aunt, or anyone else more highly.
4. Fair Trade Jewelry || My Fight
My Fight is a fair trade marketplace that employs artisans all over the world, giving them a worldwide market for their beautiful work. Although some of their pieces are on the most expensive side, their jewelry is both unique and affordable. I'm wearing their Silver Bar necklace, but they have a wide variety of jewelry with a variety of prices and styles.
